Regarding the gîte's equipment
Here is some useful information for your stay "on board":
Kitchen
Hobs: These are induction hobs. Pots and pans with magnetic bottoms for induction can be found in the bottom left-hand cupboard.
To start using a hob, you must :
- Press the "off" button,
- Then press the "temperature" button, which is also adjustable.
In fact, the on/off button is on the right, and the operating light on the left. The 'beep' is normal when there is no suitable utensil on the hob.
You have a traditional coffee maker with a permanent filter (no need for a paper filter), a Nescafé-type capsule coffee maker and a kettle. I have provided some ground coffee, tea capsules and tea bags for your arrival.
Television
FRANSAT satellite reception via Hotbird 5 - Apart from a few English-language news channels, there are no foreign channels available.
Shower room
- Shower - The multi-jet function no longer works, so do not use the top button for this function. Only the hand-held shower and its temperature control work.
- Hot water is provided by a gas boiler in the kitchen.
- Closing the window : To be able to close it, you need to push forward slightly on the left compass; please hold it when opening.
- Air extractor: this is switched on at the electrical panel, first circuit breaker in the bottom row.
Heating
When in use, the heating is set to 20 degrees (thermostat on 4).
Bedroom
- Bed : This is a 140x190 cm bed with a memory foam mattress. You have a 240*260 cm inter-season duvet and 4 60*60 pillows.
If necessary, an extra blanket and duvet are available in the dressing room.
- Safe : The code to open it is 2603*.
Outside
- The use of charcoal barbecues is strictly prohibited. A plancha is available in the cupboard where the pots and pans are kept and can be used outside.
- External awning : If you use it, please roll it up at night or when you are away during the day; we are due west, and gales are often strong and unpredictable in the region! It has already been returned once ....
- In the box on the terrace, you'll find cushions for the garden furniture, a football, a volleyball and a set of babington.
Waste sorting
- Paper and small cardboard boxes, glass, plastic and packaging : there are sorting points at several locations in Biscarrosse,

- Food waste or non-recyclable waste : this should be placed in a bin bag in the green bin by the road, opposite the dwelling.
Other information
- The accommodation is non-smoking; please do not smoke inside.
- We have a grey cat with white paws, but it's very shy. For reasons of allergic risk to our tenants, I would ask you not to let them into the accommodation.
